Georgio's Pizza
About This Spot
Stepping into Georgio’s Pizza feels like finding a well-loved pause button in the day—a relaxed neighborhood spot where the hum of friendly chatter mingles with the comforting aroma of fresh dough and simmering sauce. The pace here drifts between the buzz of casual lunchtime catch-ups and the easy-going vibe of a place that’s been part of the community’s fabric for decades.
The space carries a familiar warmth, with cozy corners that invite you to settle in for more than just a quick bite. It’s the sort of place where locals might pop in craving a slice of nostalgia, whether that’s a classic cheese or a pizza piled with meaty goodness, and leave feeling grounded by the simple joy of comfort food done well. The menu folds in surprising touches—a hint of Mediterranean with homemade breadsticks, or a nod to old-school favorites like spinach and artichoke dip—each dish revealing layers of care behind the scenes.
Georgio’s strikes a balance between straightforward and accommodating. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick takeout or waiting to savor a meal alongside neighbors and friends, there’s a sense that this is a gathering spot rather than just a stopover. The staff’s genuine friendliness is part of the experience, making the place feel less like a chain and more like an extension of the local rhythm.
Here, inviting flavors meet familiar faces, creating human moments that often linger longer than the meal itself. It’s a haven for those who appreciate honest, unpretentious dishes and the comforting backdrop of a place with stories baked right into its walls.

I had a viscous itch for old school nostalgic 80s/90s greasy cheesy pizza, and this provided the scratch of obliteration. This establishment entered the world the same year as myself and much like me is not quite the shower it may have been a few years back. The decor is eclectic at best and the dust bunnies are actually full fledged rabbits that demand eye contact and to be called sir. The pizza on the other hand is a beautiful symphony of ooey gooey goodness. We got the Georgio Special with gyro meat, feta, onion, and spinach. The flavors popped and the gyro meat is actually cooked on a spit behind the counter and shaved to order. The service started a touch slow, which is to be expected in a seat yourself establishment. They have the local Riptide Amber on tap but no cocktail program. Overall a huge win for me, because it was what I was expecting it to be. This is not chef inspired, fire roasted pizza; this is local greasy spoon style pizza that reminds you of stained glass and red cups.

Ordered a medium Hawaiian, medium pepperoni and an order of fettuccine alfredo. All of it was very delicious. It’s been a few years since I’ve had it and I don’t know why it took me so long to come back. My one and only complaint is the size of the pizzas. The mediums are like smalls. Will I buy again? Heck yeah I will!

As a local Realtor here in Pensacola, I love supporting our hometown favorites — and Georgio’s Pizza is one of them! The crust is always fresh, the staff is friendly, and it’s the perfect spot to grab a slice after a busy day. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a go-to pizza place in the Gulf Coast area. #SupportLocal

Who goes to a pizza place and has a burger? Me, guilty as charged, and it was delicious I have been saying for years that I was going to Georgio's Pizza and I just never have. Even though I worked across the street from them at one time, I still never visited. Until yesterday. But I really had a taste for a burger, so I was surprised to see one on the menu. And it was advertised to be very delicious and it indeed was. Of course I had to have the spicy burger with pepper jack and jalapenos. It was juicy and spicy and yum!! The fries were crispy, could have used a bit more salt. But before the burger I really wanted onion rings, so I ordered some as an appetizer. They were probably the best onion rings I've ever had, light, crisp and hot. Served with a side of ranch they were heavenly!! I really enjoyed my food and the next time I'm definitely going to order some pizza!

The food is very good! The Colosseum pizza was super yummy! I also enjoyed the Spinach and Artichoke dip. The ease of placing to-go orders was great. Stella is very nice, talkative, and helpful. We will be revisiting soon.
